To the yoga classroom, Muriel brings over 30 years of expertise as an educator and more than 1000 hours of yoga teacher training in Australia and India. A dedicated and passionate teacher, Muriel creates a personalised, safe, supportive and friendly learning environment. Her strength is in helping students, irrespective of age and flexibility, to strengthen their core, tune into their breath and body sensations, and practise accordingly, modifying poses when required. Subsequently, she mentored and provided opportunities for two graduates to start teaching. In addition, she instigated and participated in a collaborative research project with RMIT on the influence of yoga on university students.
