Queensland Historical Services specialises in the research and writing of local, organisational and company history for a diverse range of clients, including State and local government authorities, Aboriginal corporations, local organisations, clubs and associations. Based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and formally from Far North Queensland, I have over 18 years experience as a photographer. As with a lot of people photography for me started as a hobby, where I self taught and studied 1000s of hours of tutorials and read months & months worth of blogs, forums and books from some of the best photographers around the world. What all this has created is my own personal style and eye for detail which is always a little different and unique from the rest. I am a qualified chef, I fly planes & drones and am a huge sports nut. Being involved as a player and coach in the AFL scene for over 40 years I transitioned into sports photography working with many junior teams across South East Queensland, the Brisbane Lions Academy, AFLW and AFLQ where I have photographed the junior AFL Grand Final series in 2021. I have had some of my photos featured with tourism Tasmania, Hobart Pulse, Cradle Mountain Lodge & here on the Sunshine Coast where I featured in the Sunshine Coast Daily after capturing an amazing lightning strike in November 2016.
