Our physios have extensive experience and utilise their knowledge and manual skills to fulfil our motto 'getting you better faster'. Coastal Physiotherapy services the entire Sunshine Coast from our central location in Maroochydore near the Sunshine Plaza. We achieve fast and lasting results for a wide range of conditions including lower back pain and carpel tunnel syndrome. We service the patients of orthopaedic surgeons at Buderim, Nambour, Kawana and Caloundra Hospitals providing post-operative treatment and exercises. We are a preferred provider for local sporting teams and surf clubs and are experts in the management of sports injury ensuring our patients get back to their favoured activity quickly. Our multi-disciplinary approach (physio, OT, psychology) is unparalleled in the region. This is of great advantage in the management of patients who have suffered a work injury. We provide workplace assessment and worksite visits. Where necessary we provide exercise rehabilitation in local gym facilities and hydrotherapy sessions. Our OTs also offer home visits for the assessment of aids and appliances for DVA patients. Our physiotherapists specialise in soft tissue release which is a highly effective form of manual therapy. Treatment may also involve joint mobilisation, exercises (core stability, strengthening, stretching), dry needling (acupuncture), ultrasound. Our friendly reception staff can process your health fund rebates immediately with HICAPS. As a preferred provider for Medibank Private, BUPA and HCF you obtain higher rebates with reduced treatment costs. We’ve been helping our clients achieve their goals since 2009, in a one-to-one format and via unique group sessions too, at our state-of-the-art therapy centre in Maroochydore which features a heated Hydrotherapy Pool, functional fitness room, strength & conditioning room, sensory room and neuro room. Clients with reduced mobility and accessibility needs have not previously had a facility that offers fully inclusive activity and exercise-based rehabilitation on the Sunshine Coast and we’re delighted that we can provide this to the local community.
