Warrumbungle Observatory

The Warrumbungle Observatory has great views from the platform at the top of the observatory. Their tours were excellently informative, too.

I would definitely recommend the experience at the Warrumbungle Observatory to anyone in the area. I had an awesome experience. Brett was a great guy who took the extra time to chat and answered all our questions. He also let us take a photo through our Nikon DSLR.

The Warrumbungle Observatory is very informative. Wear very warm clothing as it can get very cold there. I had a great experience. There's plenty of time for everyone to view each telescope.

It's recommended to bring a warm jacket when going to the Warrumbungle Observatory as the nights are quite cold. It's such a great experience. However, the sky was flooded by the moon as I went there during a full moon.

We actually went to the Warrumbungle Observatory twice, and we enjoyed it both times. The place has an incredible night sky. The presentation was good entertainment while also being informative. It's good for the kids, too. The experience of seeing Saturn and Jupiter clearly through a telescope for the first time was hard to describe. Ahmad was also a very knowledgeable guide. I would recommend the Warrumbungle Observatory to anyone.
