Located in my own beautiful backyard and a granny flat, you can come and share your worries and fears with me. Problem shared is a problem halved. I too have been through life, had my own share of mental health ordeals so I do understand feeling those fears and worries that scares us at times. My path to healing started many years ago while I was studying psychology but the way I looked at healing was more of a holistic one. I do provide mobile counselling should you feel like a walk by the beach or your own home if that's the only way for me to reach you. I want to work around you because you matter to me. Working in private practice allows me the privilege of supporting many people, from all walks of life, presenting a variety of different issues and concerns. What therapy offers is a safe place to explore the past and look forward to the future, or to explore what might be happening in the present. I offer a therapeutic relationship, empathy, non-judgement, and I come from a stance of curiosity. I ask questions that help clients broaden their perspective which fosters new hope. I work collaboratively so clients feel empowered and can create a positive change in their lives. ​ When working with clients I integrate a variety of different methods and interventions. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. I hold registration with the Australian Counselling Association and hold additional qualifications and training such as, Narrative therapy, Trauma training, Youth mental health and many more. I am also a Mental Health First Aid Instructor which allows me opportunity to equipped people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, connect and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.

My private counselling practice has rooms in both Camden and Picton, NSW or I also offer telehealth sessions. My approach is person centred with the clients goals at the core of my gender affirmed and trauma informed practice. My rooms provide wonderful safe, private and calming place to explore your challenges and vulnerabilities. I am passionate about supporting people through lifes transitions and struggles whether this is a new experience or something you have been carrying for a long time. Relationships with food & body, self esteem and self worth are of particular interest and I do believe that with support everybody can move toward recovery and their most fulfilling life. I approach my work with couples from using a blend of influences from Gottman method, Solution Focused Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy and believe each couple if unique but where there love remains there is hope and my role supports the relationship to move forward from the cycles of the past or current challenges. Upon booking an appointment, we send you a Welcome email with online forms to be completed. You will receive a reminder text and email 2 days prior to your appointment, including a video link will allow you to enter your online appointment with our Psychologist at the scheduled time. You do not need to pre-install any software, although it is recommended that you download the latest browser update for your computer or device before your session. Your first appointment is focused on getting to know you, your unique situation and establishing some therapeutic goals. Each session lasts for approximately 50 minutes and payment is made via secure direct debit from your nominated credit/bank card.
